NewRiver Retail Limited ("NewRiver" or the "Company")

Dividend Declaration

As announced on 7 December 2010, the Board of the Company has declared its first interim dividend of 1 pence per share which will be paid on 21 January 2011 to ordinary shareholders on the register on 17 December 2010.  Of this dividend, the full 1 pence per share is a REIT Property Income Distribution (PID) in respect of the Group's tax exempt property rental business.
