GBP 300m 5.25% Sterling bond due September 2013

Next plc announces that it has purchased a further £36,493,000 of its 5.25% bond due September 2013 since the previous announcement on bond buybacks on 5 January 2010.  To date, a total of £82,202,000 of these bonds have been purchased for cancellation, representing 27.4% of the initial issue.  Following the repurchases, £217,798,000 of the bonds remain in issue.
