Transaction in Own Shares

Next plc announces that it has today made the following purchases on market, all for cancellation:

38,165 Shares at a price of 5386.3136 pence per share

93,100 Shares at a price of 5361.5263 pence per share

Following these purchases, the Company's registered share capital consists of 149,363,248 Shares.  This figure may be used by shareholders to determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in Next plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

All of the Shares have equal voting rights and there are no shares held in Treasury.
