                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 12 May 2006 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 60,000 ordinary shares
for cancellation at an average price of 548.5 pence per share.  Following the
buy back, there are 79,310,164 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
