THE NORTH AMERICAN INCOME TRUST PLC

On 16 November 2015, The North American Income Trust plc bought back 25,000 Ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 813.0 pence per Ordinary share.  The share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.

Following the buy back, there are 30,584,234 Ordinary shares in issue.  Each Ordinary share has one voting right.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 30,584,234 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
