                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC
                       AMENDMENT TO ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL

The announcement released yesterday afternoon (27th June at 16:43 under RNS 
number 1091O) showed an incorrect issued share capital of 82,234,164.  This 
figure is incorrect and the correct issued share capital figure is 82,134,164.

                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC

On 27 June 2005, Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 82,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 507.5 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 82,134,164 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
