made application for the admission to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority for 678,359 Ordinary Shares of 5p each issued by North Atlantic
Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC in relation to the conversion of 678,359
units of Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2013.


Admission of the new securities is expected to be effective on 17 September
2004.

The current issued share capital is 12,932,672 ordinary shares.
