Northamber plc ('Northamber' or 'the Company')

Purchase of Own Shares

Northamber announces that the Company purchased 45,000 of its own ordinary
shares today at 105p per share (representing 0.14 per cent of the Company's
issued share capital).

On 10 November 2000 shareholders approved an authority to purchase up to 10
per cent. of the aggregate nominal value of the issued ordinary share capital
of the Company.
