                             Purchase of Own Shares


On 01 May 2003 Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought 50,000 ordinary shares for
cancellation at 55p per share, representing 0.15 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 32,399,000
ordinary shares in issue.
