                             Purchase of Own Shares

On 5 December 2003 Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought 1,100,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at 60p per share, representing 3.40 per cent. of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.


Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 31,299,000
ordinary shares in issue.
