                             Purchase of Own Shares


On 1 October 2004 Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought 10,000 ordinary shares
for cancellation at 821/2p per share, representing 0.03 per cent. of the
Company's current issued ordinary share capital. On 6 October 2004 the Company
bought a further 25,400 ordinary shares for cancellation at 861/4p per share,
representing 0.08 per cent. of the Company's current issued ordinary share
capital.

Following the cancellation of, in total, 35,400 Northamber shares, the Company
has 31,280,600 ordinary shares in issue.
