                             Purchase of Own Shares


On 23 December 2004 Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought 20,000 ordinary shares
for cancellation at 921/2 pence per share, representing 0.06 per cent. of the
Company's current issued ordinary share capital.


Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company has 31,223,100 ordinary
shares in issue.
