                             Purchase of Own Shares



On 17 May 2005 Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought 25,000 ordinary shares for
cancellation at 90 pence per share, representing 0.08 per cent. of the Company's
current issued ordinary share capital.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company has 31,198,100 ordinary
shares in issue.
