UNAUDITED NET ASSET VALUE AS AT 31 DECEMBER 2006

Northern 3 VCT PLC announces that the unaudited net asset value per share as at
31 December 2006 was 95.2p. The net asset value is stated before deducting the
second interim dividend of 2.0p per share in respect of the year ended 30
September 2006, which was paid on 19 January 2007.

The number of ordinary shares in issue at 31 December 2006 was 30,685,252.
