PUBLICATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY PROSPECTUS

The boards of Northern Venture Trust PLC, Northern 2 VCT PLC, and Northern 3 VCT PLC ("the Companies") announce that they have published a supplementary prospectus ("the Supplementary Prospectus") relating to the offers for subscription for new ordinary shares in the capital of each of the Companies made pursuant to a prospectus issued on 31 July 2013 by each of the Companies to raise, in aggregate, up to £50 million.

The Supplementary Prospectus refers to the publication by Northern Venture Trust PLC of its financial results for the year ended 30 September 2013 ("the 2013 Accounts"), certain information from which is incorporated by reference into the Supplementary Prospectus.

Copies of the Supplementary Prospectus and the 2013 Accounts have been submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the National Storage Mechanism, which is located at: www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/nsm.
