25 February 2010
NORTHERN VENTURE TRUST PLC ("The Company")
DIVIDEND DECLARATION
The Company announces that the directors have declared an interim dividend of
3.0p per ordinary share for the year ending 30 September 2010, which will be
paid on 19 March 2010 to shareholders on the register on 5 March 2010.
The Company also announces that the operation of the dividend investment scheme
will be suspended in respect of the interim dividend payable on 19 March 2010,
due to limits imposed by the EU Prospectus Directive on the total subscription
value of new shares which can be allotted by the Company prior to 30 April 2010
without publishing a prospectus, and that this dividend will therefore be paid
in cash to all eligible shareholders. The operation of the dividend investment
scheme will recommence in respect of any dividends paid after 30 April 2010.
