UNAUDITED NET ASSET VALUES AS AT 30 JUNE 2006


Northern Venture Trust PLC announces that the unaudited net asset values per
ordinary share and C share as at 30 June 2006 were as follows:

The net asset value of the ordinary shares is stated after deducting the interim
dividend of 3.0p per share for the year ending 30 September 2006, which was paid
on 9 June 2006. No interim dividend was paid in respect of the C shares.
