Further re HPI Agreement

Further to the announcement made on 5 January 2011, the Company advises that the agreement with Hewitt Petroleum, Inc. and various related entities has not yet closed.

The properties to which the closing relate are in Kansas and Utah.The Company's net monthly production in barrels of oil equivalent (boe) (after royalties of approximately 20% but before operating expenses) from the producing Bloom property for December remains stable at 348 boe.  Curative title work for a portion of the Boxberger leases remains to be completed and production continues to be suspended.

The Company will update shareholders further in due course.
