Notice of General Meeting

Nostrum Oil & Gas plc (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with assets in North-Western Kazakhstan, gives notice of a general meeting of shareholders on 19 September 2014 and posts the circular to shareholders.

Further to the announcement on 28 July 2014 in relation to the entry into a contract with JSC "OGCC KazStroyService" for the construction of the third unit of the Group's gas treatment facility for a consideration of US$150 million (the "Construction Contract"), the Board of Directors of the Company gives notice that a General Meeting ("GM") of the Company will be held at Gustav Mahlerplein 23B, 1082 Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 19 September 2014 at 10.00 a.m. BST/11.00 a.m. CET.  The Company is posting the circular containing further details of the Construction Contract and the notice convening the GM to its shareholders today.
