  Numis Voted Leading Brokerage for UK Small Caps in Thomson Extel Survey 2007


Numis Securities Limited, an independent UK investment banking and broking
business was today voted the leading brokerage for UK quoted companies with a
market capitalisation of up to £1bn at the Thomson Extel Survey 2007 Awards
ceremony.


Numis was ranked first for Equity Research, Trading & Execution and Corporate
Access. Numis was also ranked in second place for Equity Sales.


Underlining the quality of its Research team, Numis was ranked in the top 3 for
ten sectors in the UK Equity market, including No.1 in five of those sectors.
