NWF Group plc: Appointment of new Group Finance Director

NWF Group plc, the specialist agricultural and distribution business, announces the forthcoming appointment of Brendon James Banner, age 39, as Group Finance Director. Brendon will be joining NWF in early November 2012.

Brendon joins NWF from William Hare Group Limited, a structural steel engineering and fabrication group with most recent annual sales of £182m, where he has been employed in the position of Group Finance Director.  Brendon joined the Board of William Hare Group in August 2008.

Following qualification as a chartered accountant in 1997 Brendon spent five years at KPMG working in Transaction Services and Corporate Finance. Brendon has been in industry for the last nine years including senior finance positions at Shop Direct Group prior to joining William Hare Group.

Brendon takes over the role from Johnathan Ford who as previously announced is leaving at the end of September to take over the position of Chief Financial Officer of HomeServe plc after three successful years and the Board wishes him well and thanks him for his support and hard work.
