NWF Group plc announces that it was informed today that Mrs. Wendy Scott, wife
of Mr. Graham R. Scott, Chief Executive, purchased 1,228 ordinary shares of
25p each in the Company (less than 0.02% of the issued shares) at a price of
196p per share on 28th August 2001. This purchase increases Mr. Scott's total
interest in the Company to 15,228 shares (0.19% of the issued shares).
