Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. (Symbol: OHT) (the 'Company') announced on 17 December,
2007 that funds under the Cohanzick Fund from New York purchased, through three
different managed funds, a total of 979,929 ordinary shares of NIS 0.01 
('Ordinary Shares') from ISMM AG. The Company has now been informed that, as a
result of this transaction, Mr. J. Ezra Merkin holds 4.44% of the voting rights
of the Company. Mr. J. Ezra Merkin is the president and controlling shareholder
of Gabriel Capital Corporation ('Gabriel Capital') which holds 254,362 Ordinary
Shares of the Company representing 2.35% of the voting rights. Gabriel Capital
also acts as investment advisor to Ariel Fund Limited ('Ariel') which holds
another 225,567 Ordinary Shares of the Company representing 2.08% of the voting
rights. Gabriel Capital acts as investment advisor to Ariel and is entitled to
exercise Ariel's voting rights in the shares of the Company.
