Orad intensifies its penetration into the Channel Branding market segment with a
new two hundred thousand dollar order from RTR Russia.
Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT), a leading provider of television production
and virtual graphics solutions, announces today the sale of its '3Dplay' channel
branding solution to RTR Russia, a leading Russian state television and radio
broadcasting Company.
In today's competitive market, broadcasters have identified the need to
differentiate themselves by strengthening their channel identity and increasing
viewer loyalty. An essential tool for creating brand loyalty is the addition of
a graphical layer that promotes the channel's programming and general
information such as; weather, stock market updates, news, programme listings and
more. Leading broadcasters like RTR choose Orad's 3DPlay to strengthen their
channel identity and to help them stand-out from rival broadcasters.
Orad's 3DPlay channel branding solution will provide RTR with the riveting and
captivating graphics and state of the art look it requires whilst being easy to
use and cost effective. These superior graphics capabilities are made possible
thanks to Orad's own HDVG rendering platform. 3DPlay's multi-lingual action
interface will enable RTR to easily operate 3DPlay in the language of its
choice. 3DPlay can be triggered by an external automation system or it can allow
the user to manually override the operation allowing complete flexibility and
control.
After carefully examining all possible solutions, Orad's 3DPlay was chosen by
RTR because of its highly reliable 24/7 service , fully redundant solution and
its user-friendly interface.
Avi Sharir, CEO and President of Orad commented: 'Orad's channel branding
solution - the 3DPlay was formally introduced at the IBC last September. Since
then, it has been warmly received by multiple broadcasters, RTR amongst them.
We are confident that 3DPlay's highly reliable solution will give RTR the peace
of mind of being able to implement the 24/7 channel branding which they have
identified as being an essential part of their strategy to put them at the
forefront of Russian television.'
