Contract win
Polsat standardises its broadcast graphic solutions using Orad full graphic
suite - accumulated contracts during 2007 are close to US$1 million.
Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT) has announced that it has provided Polsat with
a full graphic suite with accumulated contracts during 2007 of close to US$1
million. Polsat, one of Poland's leading television broadcasters, will be using
Orad's broadcast graphic solutions including news, channel branding, sports and
virtual studio across their station's facilities.
Polsat has already implemented Orad's virtual studios and Xync infrared tracking
system successfully. Consequently, Polsat has decided to replace their existing
channel branding solution with Orad's 3DPlay channel branding solution. The
3DPlay will operate out of Polsat MCR's and will be fully integrated to Polsat's
automation system. Polsat will also take advantage of Orad's Maestro news
graphic solution and integrate to Polsat's iNews system. Orad will deploy its
graphic solution within Polsat's OB Vans, which are primarily used for live
sport productions. All of the systems provided to Polsat by Orad are HD/SD
capable and are set for future migration from SD to HD technology.
Mr. Adam Brodziak, Polsat's Technical Director: 'We chose to standardise our
production using Orad's various graphic solutions after having carefully
examined the market and having had an excellent experience using Orad's virtual
studio. We are confident that Orad's solutions will enable us to enhance our
growing production needs and position Polsat as one of the leading broadcasters
in Poland'.
Mr. Avi Sharir, President and CEO of Orad: 'We are pleased with the fact that
Polsat has decided to rely on Orad as its graphic solution provider. This is the
result of our continuous effort to enhance our relations with our existing
customers and to increase the level of satisfaction of our solutions and
services.'
