OCTOPUS AIM VCT PLC  3 October 2011 Appointment of Non Executive Director The Board of Octopus AIM VCT plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Marion Sears as an independent non-executive director of the Company on 1 October 2011. Marion is an experienced non executive director currently holding positions as Senior Non-Executive director at Dunelm Group plc, the retailer, and at Zetar plc, the food manufacturer.  She was previously a director of Boehringer Ingleheim Ltd, Stortford Interiors (UK) Ltd and Managing Director, Investment Banking at JP Morgan.  She was also previously a director of Prelude Trust Plc, a Healthcare and IT Technology focused investment trust. Marion will, on appointment, join the Audit Committee.
