The following information is disclosed in respect of the dealing in Nedbank Group Limited ordinary shares by the Aka-Nedbank Eyethu Trust, of which Aka Capital (Pty) Limited is the sole beneficiary. Dr Khoza, non-executive director of Old Mutual plc and non-executive Chairman of Nedbank Group Limited, has an indirect beneficial interest in the Aka-Nedbank Eyethu Trust as he is a director and 27% shareholder of Aka Capital (Pty) Limited:

Prior to the above sale and the sales effected on 13 and 14 April 2011 that were referred to in the announcement published yesterday, the Aka-Nedbank Eyethu Trust held 0.4% of the issued ordinary shares in Nedbank Group Limited in terms of the Eyethu BEE transaction approved by Nedbank shareholders at the Nedbank general meeting on 22 July 2005. Following this transaction, the Aka-Nedbank Eyethu Trust no longer holds any Nedbank Group Limited shares.
