                Sharesave scheme - Director's share interests



Following the second annual invitation to eligible employees under the
Savings-Related Share Option Scheme of Old Mutual plc (the 'Company'), options
were granted on 10 April 2001 over a total of 4,816,415 shares in the Company
to 1,288 employees at an exercise price of £1.23 per share.


As part of the grant, Mr J V F Roberts, Group Finance Director of the Company,
received options over a total of 7,876 shares at the exercise price of £1.23
per share, exercisable between 1 May 2004 and 1 November 2004.
