                    Investor Presentations on SA activities


Old Mutual plc is making a series of presentations today on its South African
businesses to institutional and stock broking analysts. Julian Roberts, Group
Finance Director, Old Mutual plc, is hosting the presentation day at Old Mutual
Place, 2 Lambeth Hill, London EC4.

The presentations will provide an operational guide to each of the South African
businesses including Old Mutual South Africa, Nedcor Limited, and Mutual &
Federal Insurance Company Limited.

The presentation slides, and  a live audiocast of the presentations will be
available on the company's website (www.oldmutual.com) where they will be
maintained for a month.
