Offer for United Asset Management Corporation
Posting of tender offer document
Old Mutual plc confirms that the tender offer document in
respect of its offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares
of UAM Corporation, Boston, USA, was posted to shareholders of
UAM Corporation at close of business yesterday, 17 July. The
offer of $25 per share is subject to adjustment, as outlined
in the merger agreement, which was filed with the SEC on 19
June. The tender offer will close at midnight EST time on
Thursday 10 August, unless the offer is extended.
