Old Mutual plc will release its preliminary results for the year ended 31
December 2005 at 7.00 a.m. UK time, 8.00 a.m. Swedish time, 9.00 a.m. South
African time, on Monday 27 February 2006. Following this there will be a
presentation on the results at 9.30 a.m. UK time, 10.30 a.m. Swedish time, 11.30
a.m. South African time.

Jim Sutcliffe, Chief Executive, will host the presentation in London and Julian
Roberts, Group Finance Director, will host the presentation in Johannesburg.
There will be a satellite link between the venues in the UK and South Africa.

EC4V 4GG and Old Mutual Square, Isibaya Building, 93 Grayston Drive, Sandton
2196, Johannesburg.
