   Share interests of persons discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMRs)

1. Net settlement of Deferred Delivery Awards by PDMR

Mr R J A Sparks, Managing Director of Old Mutual South Africa, exercised and
sold the following deferred delivery shares under the Old Mutual Share Option
and Deferred Delivery Plan on 14 March 2006:

The total number of deferred delivery shares in the Company held by Mr Sparks is
now 913,238, of which 343,611 have vested.

2. Correction of details of PDMRs' dealings announced on 14 March 2006

The following correction is made to the details of PDMRs' dealings announced on
14 March 2006:

   • The total number of shares in the Company in which Mr Murray, (together
    with his connected persons, for the purposes of section 346 of the UK
    Companies Act 1985) is beneficially interested is now 97,282 (excluding
    non-vested RSP awards and unexercised shares held under option).
