       Share interests of persons discharging managerial responsibilities

Mr C D Collins, Non-Executive Chairman, Old Mutual plc, purchased via his
self-invested personal pension, 25,000 Old Mutual plc shares on 12 May 2006 at a
price of £1.8795 per share. The total number of shares in the Company in which
Mr Collins (together with his connected persons, for the purposes of section 346
of the UK Companies Act 1985) is now beneficially interested is 30,541.
