Old Mutual plc (the 'Company') announces that, by a notification dated 13
February 2006 received today, the Company has been informed that FMR Corp. and
its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited and its
direct and indirect subsidiaries now have non-beneficial interests in a total of
205,580,850 shares in the Company, representing 4.02% of the Company's current
issued ordinary share capital.
