1. Release of shares to Executive Directors under the Old Mutual Restricted
Share Plan

The following matching awards made on 26 February 2003 under the Company's
Restricted Share Plan ('RSP'), relating to investment by Mr Roberts and Mr
Sutcliffe of some or all of their net cash incentives for the year ended 31
December 2002 in shares in the Company, were released on 27 February 2006:

3. Exercise of option by Executive Director

Mr Sutcliffe exercised the following option under the Old Mutual Share Option
and Deferred Delivery Plan on 28 February 2006:

5. Option vesting and lapse under the Old Mutual Share Option and Deferred
Delivery Plan to persons discharging managerial responsibilities ('PDMRs')

The following options vested (all with an exercise price of £0.8625 per share)
to PDMRs on 27 February 2006 as a result of the succesful achievement of
EPS-based performance targets. Certain option shares granted to Mr Powers lapsed
on 27 February 2006, as a result of the third tier of the ZAR-based EPS
performance target not being fully met. All of these options expire if not
exercised before 25 Febuary 2009.

13. Purchase of Old Mutual plc shares by a PDMR

Mr Michael Wolf, Head of Europe and Asia Pacific, Skandia, purchased 10,000 Old
Mutual plc shares at a price of SEK 27.50 each on 27 February 2006. Mr Wolf (and
his connected persons, for the purposes of section 346 of the UK Companies Act
1985) has no other beneficial interest in Old Mutual plc shares.
