Total Voting Rights and Shares In Issue
The issued ordinary share capital of Old Mutual plc (the "Company") currently comprises 5,567,021,394 ordinary shares of 10p each and, in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of voting rights for the purposes of calculating disclosable interests in the Company's ordinary share capital is 5,567,021,394.
As announced on 9 March 2012, the Company's share capital will be consolidated following close of trading today and new ordinary shares of 113/7 pence each ("New Ordinary Shares") will then be created. An announcement of the number of New Ordinary Shares in issue following the consolidation will be made on 23 April 2012.
The New Ordinary Shares have been trading, on a "to be issued" basis, since the opening of business on 16 April 2012 on the JSE Limited and on the Malawi, Namibian and Zimbabwe Stock Exchanges.
