Transaction in Own Shares
Old Mutual plc ('the Company') announces that on 7 February 2008 it purchased
through Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch a total of 2,400,000 of the Company's
ordinary shares of 10p each.
All of these shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange at an average
price of 124.20 pence per share.
The purchased shares will be held in treasury. The Company's current issued
share capital is now 5,345,139,600 ordinary shares of 10p each (excluding the
165,140,963 shares that have so far been repurchased into treasury).
