Issue of equity
The Board of Online Blockchain plc (LSE: OBC) announces that it has today issued 613,635 new ordinary shares ("New Shares") pursuant to an exercise of warrants. The Company received a warrant exercise notice to subscribe for 613,635 new ordinary shares at a price of 32p per new ordinary share, for which subscription proceeds of £196,363 have been received. The warrants were issued pursuant to the placing as announced on 18 December 2020. The proceeds of the warrant exercise will be used for general working capital purposes.
Application will be made for the New Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that this will take place on or around 25 January 2021 ("Admission").
Following the Admission of the 613,635 New Shares, the Company will have 11,432,800 Ordinary Shares in issue which will also represent the total number of voting rights in the Company. The above figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
