On-Line PLC 31 August 2000 ON-LINE SIGN UP AWARDING-WINNING GAME TREAD MARKS On-line PLC has gained the worldwide publishing rights for Tread Marks, the awarding-winning PC game. Developed by Canadian company Longbow Digital Arts Incorporated, Tread Marks won three awards, Best Game, Best Design and Best Programming, at this year's Independent Games Festival (IGF) at GDC, the world's premier games developers' conference. The title will be published by On-line's new publishing subsidiary AAA Game, which will be launched at this year's ECTS. Tread Marks has already built up a substantial following through its demo, which has been popular across the Internet. AAA Game will now make the full version available worldwide through international distribution and retail outlets. In addition to its awards, the game has already received praise from the media, including games website CheckOut.com who commented, ...Tread Marks is a top-notch game that gets better the more you play it and sports some of the most amazing visual effects you've ever seen. - 5-Stars.
