Optare is pleased to announce that it has won a contract valued at over £2.2m to supply 20 Versa's to Go Ahead North East this year for its high profile Quaylink services that connects major bus, Metro and rail stations with attractions on both banks of the River Tyne.
In addition Glenn Saint, Chief Operating Officer will be extending his responsibilities to include relocation of the Leeds factory and deputising for the CEO. As a result Glenn will step down as a Board member of Optare plc however will continue as a director of the group's operating companies.
