Optare is pleased to announce that it has won a contract valued at £1.7m to supply Nottingham City Council for eight of its Solo Electric buses supported by the Government's Green Bus Fund.

The Solo EV is Britain's first and, currently, its only full-size, viable, battery-powered bus. These buses will be delivered in 2011.
