Appointment of Director

Optare is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Saint as a Director. Mr Saint, 46, is promoted to the board in his current role of commercial director.  Glenn has over 28 years experience in the transport sector. He gained experience with Rolls Royce followed by a number of years in the rail industry before joining Optare in 1997. During his time at Optare he has also held the post of Technical director and Manufacturing director.

Mr Saint holds 100,000 shares in Company representing 0.04% of the Company's current issued share capital.

Commenting on the appointment, Jim Sumner, CEO, said: 

"I am delighted to welcome Glenn to the Board. The Board believes his strong commercial and technical knowledge of the bus industry will be invaluable and that it brings another layer of expertise to the Board and we all look forward to working with him."

Glenn Saint is currently a director of the Papplewick Pumping Station Trust Company limited
