                                    ANNOUNCEMENT FOLLOWING THE AGM

Oracle  Coalfields  PLC on 16th May 2008 held its first Annual General Meeting at the  offices  of  St
Helens Capital PLC.

The  Directors  of  the Company are pleased to confirm all the ordinary and special  business  of  the
meeting  was  approved, including the re-election of Anthony Scutt and Roderick Stead as directors  of
the Company.

Chairman Shahrukh Khan, made the following statement to the meeting:

"I  am  delighted with the significant progress that the Company has made since joining PLUS in August
last year. Without doubt the most notable success for the Company since its PLUS listing has been  the
award of Block VI of the Thar Coalfield in the Sindh Province of Pakistan. As announced on 9 May 2008,
the  drilling  campaign to validate the existing work at Block VI was completed and we  can  now  look
forward to announcing a JORC reserve by the middle of next week.

We will inform shareholders of our progress and strategy during the coming months."

The Directors of the Company accept responsibility for this announcement.
