This announcement replaces the announcement released at 11:27am today, 25 February 2015. The previous announcement stated that application has been made for 535,000,000 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. This figure should have read 484,773,633 ordinary shares and that the General Meeting was held to seek authority to issue up to 535,000,000 new ordinary shares. The full amended announcement is set out below. All other details remain unchanged.

Correction: Result of General Meeting to approve Equity Placing
Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK coal developer of a 1.4 billion tonne lignite resource located in the south-eastern area of the Sindh Province, Pakistan, announces that, following the announcement of its £3.37m equity placing on 9 February 2015, a General Meeting was held today at 23 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London W1S 1JB to seek authority to issue up to 535,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company.
The Directors of the Company confirm that all resolutions were passed.
Accordingly, further to the announcement on 9 February 2015, the increased authorities allow the Company to issue the 484,773,633 ordinary shares pursuant to the second placing and participation by Oracle's Directors and certain employees (the "New Shares"). Application has been made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, with dealings in the New Shares expected to commence on or around 3 March 2015.
