Origin Enterprises plc ('the Company') announces that Mr Alan Gray, Director, yesterday 23 October 2008, purchased 20,857 ordinary shares of the issued share capital of the Company at €2.35 per share. 

Following the above purchase Mr Gray holds 20,857 Ordinary Shares of the issued share capital of the Company.
