Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') has received notification today from Polar Capital LLP of a disposal of CFDs such that Polar Capital LLP is now interested in 3,399,088 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company.  3,399,088 ordinary shares represent 2.71% of the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.
