Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') has received notification on 30 November 2010 from W&R Barnett Ltd of a decrease in its shareholding in the Company.  Following a sale of 2,120,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company on 29 and 30 November 2010, W&R Barnett Ltd is now the holder of 2,779,271 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin.  This holding represents approximately 2.09% of the 133,015,572 shares currently in issue.
