Mandatory notification

Dag J. Opedal, CEO in Orkla ASA, transferred today on 18 December 2009, 34,274
shares in Orkla ASA to Alcaran AS, Business Register Number 992868597. The
shares were transferred to a share price of NOK 55.45 per share.

Alcaran AS is Opedal’s wholly-owned company. After this transaction, Dag J.
Opedal and his close associates own 342,173 shares and 1,270,000 options in
Orkla ASA.
