The Annual General Meeting of Orkla ASA will be held at Folketeateret, Storgaten
21-23 in Oslo, on Thursday, 22 April 2010 at 3 p.m.
At a meeting on 10 February 2010 the Board of Directors decided to submit the
following resolutions to Orkla's General Meeting:
1)
The Board of Directors proposes an ordinary dividend for 2009 ofNOK 2.25 per
share, equal to the dividend of NOK 2.25 per share paid for the year of 2008.
The share will be quoted exclusive of the dividend on 23 April 2010. Subject to
the decision of the General Meeting regarding the share dividend, the dividend
will be paid on 4 May 2010 to shareholders of record as of the date of the
Annual General Meeting.
2)
The Board of Directors proposes that the General Meeting of Orkla ASA give the
Board of Directors authorisation to increase share capital through the
subscription of new shares with an aggregate nominal value of up toNOK
90,000,000 divided between a maximum of 72,000,000 shares, each with a nominal
value of NOK 1.25. The authorisation may be used for one or more share issues.
Orkla's annual report 2009, will be released on 25 March 2010
