Re: Purchase of Shares

The Board of Directors Oryx International Growth Fund Limited (the 'Fund') wish
to announce that it has acquired for cancellation 1,687,817 Oryx C Shares at a
price of approximately 87.2429p.  This closes out a contract for difference in
the Fund's Shares which had been initiated by the previous Board of Baltimore
Plc.'
